Please join us and experience the power and the celebration of a Girls on the Run 5K. This fall, the season culminates with the Girls on the Run FROZEN! 5K on December 6.
Witness the girls’ enthusiasm as they gather, full of anticipation, ready to challenge themselves. Join in as they cheer each other on. Let the glow of accomplishment every girl feels as she crosses the finish line warm your heart!
Join us on December 6 at City Island for family friendly, fun, frozen pre-race activities and experience the power of Girls on the Run. Activities begin at 8AM, race starts at 9:30AM.

The Spring 5K is at Penn State Harrisburg on May 16. Pre-Race fun and activities begin at 8AM. The race starts at 9:30AM
Follow the information and registration link to register online. Early bird registration ends on March 31. Online registration is open until May 11. You can also register in person at early packet pick up or on race day at Penn State Harrisburg
The early bird registration rate is $20. This rate is valid through March 31. The regular registration rate from April 1 is $25.
All participants who register by 4/20/15 will receive an event t-shirt in their requested size. For registrations received after 4/20/15, t-shirts are available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
Early Packet Pickup is on Friday, May 15 at the GOTR Offices:
525 North 12th Street, Suite 205, Lemoyne, PA 17043 from Noon to 7:00pm for Coaches and Community Runners only. GOTR Girls and their Running Buddies will get their race packets from their Coach at the designated team meeting place on race day.
Race packets may be picked up on race day at Penn State Harrisburg, beginning at 7:30AM.
Individuals may register in person during Early Packet Pickup is on Friday, May 15 at the GOTR Offices: 525 North 12th Street, Suite 205, Lemoyne, PA 17043 between Noon and 7:00pm. Race day registration will be available at Penn State Harrisburg from 7:30AM.
The 5K Course Map will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
Participants should use the Meade Avenue entrance to Penn State Harrisburg campus. Girls on the Run participants & family members should plan to arrive at Penn State Harrisburg by 8:00AM. Make your way to your team’s table where your coach will give you your bib. GOTR designated running buddies should arrive by 8:30AM and also head to the GOTR team’s table to pick up your shirt and bib.
Race Day registration/packet pick up is open to community runners/walkers from 8:00AM to 9:30AM. Corporate & Community Team Challenge teams can pick up their bibs and shirts from the GOTR offices on Friday May 15 from between noon and 7:00PM or on race day from 8:00AM to 9:30AM. Pre-Race Activities start at 8:00AM. Race starts at 9:30AM
GOTR participants and coaches should wear their season shirts. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather. Creative costumes appropriate for the season are encouraged and may be rewarded ☺
There is designated parking for race participants, GOTR participants, GOTR coaches & volunteers. Race participants will be directed to the Olmsted parking lot. Volunteers will be on hand to direct cars.
This race is open to the whole community. We welcome your family and friends!
Strollers and walkers are welcome at the race and should line up at the start behind the girls and their running buddies to minimize the injury potential of runners.
Please don’t bring your pets. Personal music devices (ipods and MP3 players) are also not allowed at the race. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
These signs are displayed along the course and can be personalized. They can be purchased by parents and friends, local businesses and anyone who wants to support the girls and the race. You can order one by calling the office.
