PROGRAM DETAILS:
We are offering 2 different FULL day camps and 1 HALF day camp in Summer 2020
Camp GOTR #1: July 13th - 17th (8:00-5:00 p.m.)
Full day camp with career-focused field trips.
Location: Harrisburg Jewish Community Center (JCC) 3301 N Front St. Harrisburg
Fee: $225
Camp GOTR inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through a variety of creative and interactive outlets. Each day, girls will explore the theme of emotions through physical activity, collaborative games and creative expression, including building, writing, acting and art. The program culminates with a celebratory event where girls’ celebrate their accomplishments with a creative showcase of their original work from the program. Girls will gain skills to navigate their world, improve their health and confidence, make friends and have fun.
Daily Fieldtrips: Each afternoon, campers will go off site to meet with inspiring local women in business and the community to learn about leadership; find their voice; and discover a range of career options!
Camp GOTR #2: July 27th - 31st (8:00-5:00 p.m.)
Full day camp with Tech/STEM focused afternoon program.
Location: Thomas Holtzman Elementary, 1910 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110 in the a.m, afternoons at Harrisburg University
Fee: $300

The program culminates with a celebratory event where girls’ celebrate their accomplishments with a creative showcase of their original work from the program. Girls will gain skills to navigate their world, improve their health and confidence, make friends and have fun.
Afternoon Fieldtrips: Girls will be transported to Harrisburg University and learn to program a magical coding wand and be a “Wizard” like in the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter. Girls will be introduced to logic-based thinking concepts while developing programming skills to build magical spells to perform with their wands. At the end of the week, each girl will take home their wand and a tablet.
Camp GOTR #3: July 20th - 24th (8:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.)
Location: Mountain View Elementary, 30 Bali Hai Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050
Fee: $125

FOR ALL GOTR CAMPS:
ELIGIBLE GIRLS: Campers must be entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grade in the Fall 2020 school year to be eligible for this camp.

A Camp GOTR bracelet to commemorate completion of the program

Instructors: Trained, experienced Girls on the Run coaches
Limited financial scholarships available to families that qualify for the full-day camps. Financial assistance is available to any family in need for the half-day camp.
